Frequently Asked Questions
We strive to address all the frequently asked questions on this page. However, if you have any inquiries that are not included here, please don’t hesitate to reach out, and we will gladly assist you.
How often should I clean my carpets?

Even if your carpets appear clean, dirt and bacteria will accumulate over time. Professional cleaning every 6 to 12 months is recommended, adjusting based on foot traffic.
Do you do emergency call outs?

Yes
Do you wear shoe covers?

Yes we do
Will you move furniture?

We can move light furniture on the day of the cleaning, but if the furniture is heavy or large, we ask that you move it before we arrive. If you can’t, we will work around it and also apply protective strips to the underneath of the furniture.
How long will the job take?

For all of our services, to achieve the highest finish, please allow for a minimum of 1 hour and as long as a day depending on the size of the job.
Where do you dispose of the dirty water?

We always ensure that your water is disposed of in the safest and most recommended way.
Are you trained and qualified?

Yes, we proudly have Clean Smart Approved Technician status.
Can you remove the smell of urine and other odours?

We employ a variety of chemicals, techniques, and tools to effectively eliminate odors. While we strive for optimal results, please note that the outcome may not be guaranteed due to numerous factors. The primary consideration is the duration for which the odor has been present. Swift intervention increases the likelihood of successful odor removal.
Do you clean between oven door glass?

Yes, we will clean all sides of the oven door glass where it is possible to do so.
Will you replace extractor hood filters?

We would just ask for you to purchase a new filter and we will change it over on the day. If your filter is metal, we will place in this in the dip tank.
Do you charge more than you quoted?

No, we only charge extra if there are additional carpets to clean, or if you request stain guard.
Is stain guard right for my sofa?

Stain guard is generally beneficial for sofas, providing additional time to address spills. However, it’s not a cure-all and prompt stain removal is still necessary. It is essential to evaluate the fabric before application, although most synthetic fibers typically respond well. Regular reapplication, preferably every 6 to 12 months, is recommended for sustained effectiveness.
Why should you clean your carpets?

Carpets are a breeding ground for dirt and bacteria, which your vacuum cleaner can only remove so much of. Our professional carpet cleaning not only removes dirt on the surface, but also deep down in the pile, which is achieved with our 5 step process.
Are you insured?

Yes, we have public liability up to £1 million.
Do I need to vacuum before hand?

No, we do this as part of the preparation process.
Do you supply water and electricity?

We would kindly ask to use your inside/outside tap and plug sockets when required.
Will my carpets/ upholstery be dry after the job?

We employ air movers and heaters to initiate the drying process following the completion of each room or upholstery. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for complete drying, taking into account the specific characteristics of the fibers.
For house moves, will you clean whilst removal companies are present?

We make a point of avoiding this situation as it frequently disrupts our workflow. Our preference is to request full cooperation from the removal company or, ideally, begin our work once they have vacated the premises.
Will you do a better job than my domestic carpet cleaner?

Absolutely. Our machines are more powerful, and we follow a detailed 5-step process.
Will you remove every stain?

Although our machines, techniques, and solutions are highly effective, we cannot ensure the removal of every stain. Rest assured, we will diligently assess the stains before cleaning to provide a realistic outcome, and we remain dedicated to restoring your carpet to the highest possible standard.
Do you have a minimum fee?

Yes, our minimum fee is £75.
